I'm currently procrastinating doing my ESE 215 Problem Set, once again because I don't actually know how to do it :/
So far, I have knitted 16 or so rows in my scarf, and looked around on Pinterest and Facebook, ate lots of Special K, showered, watched a video tutorial about how to make sock bun curls overnight, cut a sock, attempted to wrap my hair around it.
Thoughts:
If my hair turns out horribly and I have to give a presentation looking like a poodle it'll be funny. Is school over yet?
...And now I do the problem set. :/
Because I don't want to do real work... RULES FOR PROCRASTINATION BLOGGING (I'm making rules, because I can...) 1) Specify what you should be doing but are procrastinating. 2) Speculate as to why you are avoiding doing whatever you should be doing. 3) List the ways you've been avoiding completing the task(s). 4) Type non-sense about whatever you might be thinking about. 5) After finishing the post, actually complete the task you've been avoiding.

Procrastination Post #1
Adhering to the rules of procrastination posting:
I am currently procrastinating completing my take-home exam for ESE 304. (In my defense, it is half-complete.) I am secondarily also procrastinating: finishing cleaning my room, doing the dishes, and several other, less urgent assignments.
I believe that I am procrastinating the 304 exam because I simply don't know how to do it, and although I'm sure it will not actually be that difficult to learn how to do it, it will require brainpower that I do not currently possess. The other tasks are being procrastinated because I'm lazy and they really aren't that important.
So far, I have procrastinated by:
1) Looking at pictures of mixed-breed dogs.
2) Pinteresting
3) Stalking my friend's little sister on Facebook (last time I saw her she was 4 years old. I'm feeling ancient)
4) In the spirit of feeling old, googling wrinkle creams. then reading Amazon reviews.
5) E-mailing people that I actually had to e-mail
6) Bringing my coat stand into my bedroom because I don't use it in the living room
7) Cooking chicken
8) Thinking about how I should really go to the gym soon
9) Using Gcal to schedule every minute of the next several days so that I can once again, not follow the schedule and spend way too much time procrastinating.
10) Making a procrastination blog and writing this post.
Random thoughts: sometimes, you gotta take a break and waste some time. I really hope I get that job I interviewed for today. Why am I too lazy to switch my keyboard back to English when I'm not typing in Spanish? Bleh, the chicken didn't turn out that well. I wonder if it's warm in Texas. I need a haircut. I want to finish knitting the scarves I have to knit for people. How do I give other people access to write in this blog?
And now, I'll do my exam.
-K
